TEDMAG

Technical Education Development for Modernizing Agriculture in Ghana (TEDMAG)

The aim of the TEDMAG project is to reorient agriculture education and training towards an agri-business market-oriented system that will equip extension delivery services with skills to support farmers to transform from subsistence to income-earning enterprises. There’s a two-pronged approach being adopted to achieve the objectives under TEDMAG.

The first component comprises 3 subcomponents, which include a review of the curricula, an upgrade of technical and computer laboratories, and the rehabilitation of Ejura mechanization workshop. And the second component involves a re-orientation of current techniques being used by extension delivery agents to enable them to support farmers to move from subsistence farming into market-oriented agriculture.
